The renowned singer, actress, and director claims that her editor convinced her to talk about her prior relationships with Don Johnson, Ryan O’Neal, and Andre Agassi.
Barbra Streisand says she believes that after reading her forthcoming biography, My Name Is Barbra, people will finally “know the truth” about her.
In an interview that aired on CBS Sunday Morning, Streisand says, “Talking about the myths about me is one of the reasons I wrote the book.”
As King hinted, Streisand talks about her “past loves and regrets” in addition to comments on her work as a singer, actress, and director.
However, Streisand, who spent 25 years as James Brolin’s wife, would have preferred that the book include less information on her previous relationships, which included ones with Don Johnson, Ryan O’Neal, Andre Agassi, and former Canadian prime minister Pierre Trudeau.
“Listen, I didn’t want to write about any of them,” Streisand adds. “[But] my editor said, ‘You have to leave some blood on the page!
