As Arsenal continues to get ready for their matchup with Manchester United on Sunday, Takehiro Tomiyasu has not been spotted in training.
Tomiyasu participated in the entire 90 minutes of Saturday’s 3-0 triumph over Bournemouth, but he was nowhere to be found during Mikel Arteta’s team’s practice on Tuesday at their Colney base.
The former Bologna defender was absent from the scene, as evidenced by video footage, although Sky Sports refuted this by saying he “may come later on.”Bukayo Saka was spotted somewhere else with strapping on his leg. The England international sustained a serious cut to his shin during the victory over Bournemouth, but he has continued to train normally despite the injury.
Saka was taken off the field late in the game at Emirates Stadium, but the Gunners were already leading and Declan Rice scored a third goal shortly after to ensure three points.
