Although Pascal Siakam has only played in two postseason games, he is already demonstrating why the Indiana Pacers were wise to trade for him earlier in the season.
In Indiana’s 125-108 victory over the Milwaukee Bucks in Game 2, Siakam not only recorded a playoff career-high 37 points and 11 rebounds, but he also created history by being the first player since Wilt Chamberlain in 1967 to start the playoffs with back-to-back games with at least 35 points and 10 rebounds.
In the Pacers’ opening-round loss to the Bucks, Siakam recorded 36 points and 13 rebounds. The Cameroonian put on yet another outstanding performance on Tuesday night, which not only helped the Pacers even their best-of-seven first-round series against Milwaukee but also made history by making them the first team in the 2024 NBA playoffs to win on the road.
