I’ve only just started listening to it on Audible, but the most essential message that Barbra appears to want to express is that she is simply an average person with a good voice. I’m not sure I agree. I think she’s an amazing person who worked extremely hard to get where she is. I do not want to hear any comments concerning her politics. Everybody has “politics.” Her rise from obscurity to becoming a Hollywood icon is noteworthy. I’ve been a fan since I was a teenager who wanted to be a singer. It is a good read. You should check it out.
PS. I just remembered! She did mention that the first thing she notices about a man is his teeth. This is based on her older sister’s former boyfriend, who had terrible brown teeth! She noted that one of the reasons she was drawn to her husband, James Brolin, was that “he has great teeth!”
As of January 2022, Barbra Streisand had not released an autobiography. However, it is important to note that material is subject to change, and new books or memoirs may be published after my last update. If Barbra Streisand has released an autobiography since then, the content and specifics of what she exposes about herself in the book will be unique to that publication. Autobiographies often cover a wide range of topics, including personal experiences, job highlights, relationships, obstacles, and thoughts on various stages of life.
To learn more about what Barbra Streisand discloses about herself in her autobiography, if one has been released, I recommend reading the official book description, reviews, and any interviews or promotional materials linked with the book. Book reviews and summaries frequently provide insights into the themes and content of autobiographies, allowing readers to see into the author’s personal and professional life.
