It appears that since Castle’s cancellation, Nathan Fillion and Stana Katic have neither engaged or continued to play a part in each other’s life, despite reports to the contrary. Despite their lack of interaction, there isn’t a lot of animosity between them. Their disparity may simply result from the divergent paths they have pursued throughout their lives.
Fillion has persisted in putting his career first, performing in a variety of parts and styles. In addition to his appearances in Bupkis and Monster’s At Work, he most recently starred in the television series The Rookie. Apparently, he finds it impossible to let go of the turmoil around Castle because it’s all people ever talk about. The actor, though, hasn’t spoken anything about the turmoil, particularly with his former co-star.
However, it looks like Katic is spending a lot of time with her family. In 2015, she tied the knot with Kris Brkljac, and the couple welcomed their first child in 2022. She is still involved in the entertainment business; following her voice work on Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths – Part One, one of her most recent projects is set to launch in early 2024. She also seldom ever talks about her previous job, which suggests that she’s attempting to put the drama surrounding Castle behind her as well.
