Gabriel Osho, a defender for Luton Town, is one of the players that Aston Villa is keeping an eye on since his contract is likely to expire during the summer transfer window.
Luton has performed admirably so far this year. The fact that Rob Edwards’ team seems to have such a strong chance of retaining their Premier League status for a second season is astounding.
And among the most spectacular performers, especially in the past few months, is Gabriel Osho. The 25-year-old has scored goals in victories over Newcastle United and Arsenal.
One team that is considering Gabriel Osho is Aston Villa.
Osho’s contract at Kenilworth Road expires at the end of the current campaign, according to journalist Dean Jones, who spoke with SportsLens. Furthermore, if the Hatters are unable to maintain their position in the division, the former Reading trainee is likely to move on, despite their best efforts to reach new terms with him.
And according to Jones, Aston Villa, Fulham, and Crystal Palace are a few of the teams that are keeping an eye on Osho and may make a move towards the conclusion of the season.
It might be a wise signing.
Similar to Luton, Villa has had an outstanding season. Until a few weeks ago, Unai Emery’s team appeared to be well in the running for the Premier League championship.
They have recently experienced some disheartening outcomes. They are still very much in the running for the top four, though. And next year, they’ll most likely be back in Europe performing.
Profit and sustainability may raise some red flags for Aston Villa. Osho is clearly more alluring given that he might be available for a free move in the future.
Diego Carlos, Tyrone Mings, and Ezri Konsa are just a few of the players who have missed time due to major injuries that Villa has had to deal with this season.
Maybe they believe Osho has the potential to significantly increase the depth in the backline’s core.
