After the Nuggets game, the Boston Celtics make a roster move as theyrecalled a player from the G League.

The Boston Celtics have recalled a player from the G League.

Nikola Jokic and the Denver Nuggets were the guests of the Boston Celtics on Friday night in Massachusetts.

Despite an intensely contested game, the Nuggets prevailed 102–100, handing the Celtics their first home loss of the 2023–24 NBA season

.  The Celtics sent rookie Jordan Walsh to the G League prior to their game against the Denver Broncos.

The former star of Arkansas participated in Friday’s Maine Celtics vs. Sioux Falls Skyforce game, which the Celtics defeated 116–112.

Walsh had eight rebounds, one steal, one block, and seven points in thirty-four minutes of action. He also shot two points from three-point range and seven points from the field overall.

The Celtics finally revealed (on Saturday) that they had called Walsh back to the NBA after Friday’s loss to the Nuggets.

This season, the 19-year-old has participated in just one NBA game.

The Celtics dropped to 32-10 in their first 42 games with their defeat to the Nuggets, but they are still the top seed in the Eastern Conference.

They have won 20 of the 21 games they have hosted in Boston, and they have gone 6-4 in their previous ten games.

The Celtics will now play the Houston Rockets on Sunday night in Texas, after the Nuggets.

Over the previous seven seasons, the Celtics have made five trips to the Eastern Conference Finals; nevertheless, they have not won an NBA Championship since 2008.

They were defeated by the Miami Heat in Game 7 of the Conference Finals the previous year.
