Anthony Munoz discusses the Bengals, their offensive line, and Tyler Eifert’s surgery that ended his season.
The Cincinnati Bengals hold a particular place in their hearts for Anthony Munoz, who is the team’s lone inductee into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Thus, everyone appears to pay attention when he expresses his opinions about the current squad.
Munoz recently discussed his opinions about the offensive line, in particular Cedric Ogbuehi and Jake Fisher, on CBS Sports Radio’s Tiki and Tierney:
Munoz stated of the offensive tackles, “That’s why you get picked (in the first and second round). “(The Bengals) travel to Cleveland and completely dominate them (Week 4: 31–7). Though Cleveland has had some excellent games, they just completely demolished Cleveland. They then persevered against the Bills and won (20-16) by displaying some grit. Two big wins. Thus, it seems like things are progressing. I believe that in order for young linemen to develop confidence, you need to help them slide this way and that way with the schemes that are aiding them. I enjoy what’s happening.
