As $64m ‘talks advance’ and Spurs ‘concerned’ about Jürgen Klopp hijack- Deal “finalized !today!

Liverpool transfer news: Jürgen Klopp allegedly raised “concern” at Spurs about a deal being hijacked while negotiations for a $64 million midfield midfielder had “advanced.”

Liverpool still has work to do throughout the summer, but it seems like the transfer market as a whole is moving faster as a number of high-profile deals are starting to materialize.

Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai have already been acquired by the Reds, and players like Declan Rice might soon increase the number of agreements that Premier League teams have reached.

While Manchester United and Manchester City will need to enter the market as well, Chelsea might still become even busier. Many of the coaches vying for spots in Europe may find themselves under fire if those moves don’t pay off.

Another midfielder and perhaps a defender are still priorities for Liverpool. A few more changes would make Jürgen Klopp’s team, which already appears to be in good shape, more intriguing before the start of the new season.

Here is the Liverpool.com take on the rumors surrounding the Reds’ transfers that have surfaced today, starting with a look at Southampton midfielder Roméo Lavia and wrapping up with a report regarding Spurs and a potential hijack.
