Caleb Chukwuemeka, a former Aston Villa striker, is now on trial with Bristol City. After joining Villa from Northampton Town in 2021 for two years, Chukwuemeka, the elder brother of Chelsea and former Villa star Carney, only made one first team appearance in the League Cup.

Two years ago, Villa reportedly outbid teams like Tottenham and Rangers to recruit the striker, but he did not make the desired improvement while playing at Villa Park. He was not included on the officially published list of contracted players this month despite being listed on Villa’s retained list back in June.
