Barbra Streisand, 81, hints she Won’t ever make one more film from now onward: ‘I get apathetic… I like downtime’

In a candid new interview, Barbra Streisand said that she will never make another movie again. After starring in 19 films, the 81-year-old Hollywood legend expressed to People that she was looking forward to a quieter period in her illustrious career. I was fighting for the rights to play Gypsy in 2009, after all. As such, it gets debilitating, attempting to concoct the design of the film and afterward have it not work out. ‘In the event that I might have made my motion pictures, I never would’ve composed a book. I had so many excellent films to make—those that were about topics I cared about and were very interesting—why did I only make 19 films in my lifetime? I wanted to make a lot of movies, but then I get lazy. I go, ‘Gracious definitely, to do this one, I must have this multitude of fittings for period garments.
