“I want to have more fun,” the iconic singer and actress stated in a new interview with the BBC, released Sunday.
Barbra Streisand want to spend her golden years with her loved ones. Speaking with the BBC ahead of the Tuesday release of her long-awaited memoir, My Name Is Barbra, the iconic singer and actress revealed her hopes to spend more time with her family and her husband of 25 years, actor James Broli.
“I want to live life,” said Streisand, 81, in an interview published Sunday. “I’d like to get in my husband’s truck and wander about, hopefully with the kids, somewhere nearby. When they visit, life becomes more enjoyable for me. They enjoy playing with the dogs, and we have fun.” “I haven’t had much fun in my life, to tell you the truth,” she said. “And I want to have more fun.” Streisand is a mother to son Jason Gould, 56, who she shares with ex-husband Elliott Gould, and a stepmother to James’ three children: Josh, 55, Jess, 52, and Molly, 35. She is also the grandma of Josh’s four children: Trevor (35), Eden (29), Westlyn (5) and Chapel (2).
