The most recent Manchester City trade rumors come amid growing talk about Erling Haaland and Bernardo Silva.
Before the 2025–2026 season, Catalan giants Barcelona are putting arrangements in place to sign Norwegian wonder Erling Haaland from Manchester City in a record-breaking £150 million trade.
According to sources from 90min, Barcelona is getting ready to compete with Real Madrid for his services. Haaland transferred from Borussia Dortmund to City last summer for $51 million.
The 23-year-old has scored an astounding 58 goals in 59 outings for the team since then. Haaland was a bright spot for City during their historic treble-winning season, when they won the Champions League trophy, another FA Cup, and a third consecutive Premier League title.
Haaland’s contract with the City has four more years to go. Although the Norwegian striker is happy playing for Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium, that hasn’t stopped him from being connected with prominent European teams; Barcelona has now been added to that list among these most recent reports.
Despite recently signing a new deal, colleague Bernardo Silva is reportedly hoping to join Barca next summer, according to claims from the Spanish daily Mundo Deportivo. Bernardo, 29, has achieved great success at City since transferring from AS Monaco to the Etihad in 2017 for €50 million.
When the Portugal international agreed to a contract extension through 2026 this summer, Pep Guardiola and other important players in the background were able to safeguard their investment. However, the adaptable forward may now be prepared to settle on a new adventure in La Liga after some long-term interest from Camp Nou.
