Boston Celtics now have a new star 2024

Three Boston Celtics players ended up making the 2024 NBA All-Star squad, according to a new analysis by NBA Math using the Rolling Player Rating (RPR) stat. Naturally, it should be mentioned that the players RPR believes should receive the most credit might not be the same players that the coaches choose for the reserves or the players selected by a mix of fan, media, and player voting for the starting lineup.

In any case, though, having three (and possibly four, depending on injuries) All-Stars is an uncommon accomplishment that has only been made a few times in league history.

In addition to Giannis Antetokounmpo, Joel Embiid, Tyrese Maxey, and Tyrese Halliburton, NBA Math indicates that Jayson Tatum is among the starting lineup.

Along with Trae Young, Damian Lillard, Julius Randle, Scottie Barnes, and Jalen Brunson, Kristaps Porzingis and Derrick White make up the reserves.

Along with Jimmy Butler, Bam Adebayo, Mikal Bridges, Donovan Mitchell, and Jaylen Brown, the group is augmented.
