According to sources who spoke to Football Insider, Man City will make a new offer for Lucas Paqueta in the next 24 hours that is expected to be worth £80 million as the Premier League team attempts to reach an agreement with West Ham.
This follows the prior agreement of personal arrangements with the Brazilian international.
Last week, the Hammers turned down a £70 million+ offer from the Manchester giants for the 25-year-old.
Paqueta joined the Londoners from French powerhouses Lyon last summer for a club-record estimated fee of £51 million.
The Brazilian international signed a five-year contract when he first arrived at the London Stadium, and West Ham has the option to extend it by a further 12 months.
Since his £51 million signing, he has been David Moyes’ go-to starter on a regular basis.
He made 41 games for the Hammers, contributing to seven assists and five goals as West Ham won the Europa Conference League.

But with key players Riyad Mahrez and Ilkay Gundogan leaving the team in recent months, Guardiola is eager to bring in more help.
In other news, Man City has two replacements for Paqueta on their list for the summer transfer market.
