Dani Ceballos, a 27-year-old midfielder for Real Madrid, is the subject of an offer that Aston Villa is poised to accept.

The Spanish midfielder was a target for Unai Emery’s Villa over the summer. But after a strong finish to the 2022–23 season, he ultimately decided to sign a new contract.
In the summer of 2017, Ceballos joined Real Madrid after rising through the ranks at Real Betis. Over the following two seasons, the youthful prospect played little for the Spanish giants. Madrid ultimately decided to loan him to Arsenal for a period of two years.
Nothing much changed after his return to his parent club because of his ongoing injury problems and limited playing time. The 27-year-old was not a significant component of Carlo Ancelotti’s team even last season.
The Spanish international has only played 49 minutes of football this season due to a hamstring injury, and given the form of Real Madrid’s midfielders, the 27-year-old may not even get a chance to play this season. However, he did get his chances towards the end of the season and ended up impressing everyone. His exceptional performances forced Los Blancos to offer him a new contract, which he ultimately accepted.
A move away from the club in the offseason looks likely now that both Aston Villa and Madrid are aware of the circumstance. Unai Emery wants to strengthen his midfield even more, and he thinks the 27-year-old, who has already made an appearance in the Premier League, would be a terrific addition.
The English team is eager to have him join their ranks and is putting together an offer in advance so they can outbid any rivals for his signature. For the right to sign the Spanish international from Real Madrid, they are willing to pay up to 18 million. and are prepared to pay him $8 million year. Villa is eager to sign him, so the player and the team in white will make the ultimate call.
