According to rumours, Real Madrid is exploring a startling transfer for Julian Alvarez of Manchester City when the transfer window reopens in January.
After losing Karim Benzema to a new team, Carlo Ancelotti is eager to bolster his attack with another talented striker and is a major fan of the Argentina international.
Real Madrid is also interested in Erling Haaland, but the Norwegian international is in negotiations with Man City to sign a new contract, so the Spanish powerhouses are aware a substantial transfer sum would be necessary to entice him away from the Etihad.
Superstar Kylian Mbappe of Paris Saint-Germain has also been associated with Real Madrid for a number of years.
At the conclusion of the current campaign, the France international’s contract will expire, making him a free agent. He had long been favored to sign with Los Blancos.
Alvarez and Mbappe could both be acquired by Real Madrid, though there is no reason why they couldn’t. It will therefore be intriguing to see whether the Spanish powerhouses actually make a serious offer for the Man City star in January.
Real Madrid thinks of using Alvarez

Alvarez might undoubtedly be a great choice. He has made 55 appearances across all competitions since moving to the Etihad in January 2022, scoring 19 goals and providing six assists.
The 23-year-old has already won numerous trophies. In addition to helping Man City win the Premier League, Champions League, and FA Cup last season, he was instrumental in Argentina’s World Cup victory the previous year.
