By returning to training following injury, Kevin De Bruyne has given Manchester City a much-needed fitness boost.
WHAT OCCURED? The two-time PFA Player of the Year has missed the Blues’ last two games after suffering an injury during a critical 4-1 victory over Arsenal. He is hoping to spark another Premier League title triumph this season. De Bruyne “felt a twinge in his leg” at the moment, according to City, who decided not to risk playing him against Fulham and West Ham. The 31-year-old is, however, back in the running to play against Leeds on Saturday, followed by a Champions League match against Real Madrid.
