Mohamed Salah’s transfer to Al Ittihad was rejected by Liverpool, who continue to assert that they are not interested in selling the Egyptian attacker.
A second bid for Mohamed Salah is being considered by Al Ittihad before the Saudi Pro League transfer market closes on Thursday. Salah’s signature should still be sought for, according to certain powerful club members, but others suggest waiting until the following summer’s transfer season.
Any new offer must receive SPL clearance before it can be accepted, with Saad Al Lazeez, the chief executive, and Michael Emenalo, the director of football, handling this process. Al Ittihad made Liverpool a verbal offer for Salah that was worth £150 million on Thursday, but Liverpool rejected it.
Salah is not a transfer target, and Liverpool has not changed its attitude.
After beating Aston Villa, Jurgen Klopp firmly told the media, “I never questioned his dedication to this team. We have maintained our composure despite the overwhelming attention it received on a global scale. Salah is a part of us and wants to keep representing Liverpool.
