Tennis: Today marks Andre Agassi and Steffi Graf’s wedding anniversary. Today marks the 12th anniversary of the marriage of two of the greatest tennis players ever—a male player and a female player. Up until 2010, the only tennis players to have won all four G Grand Slams in their careers were Andre Agassi and Steffi Graf.
Rafael Nadal accomplished the same feat in 2010 and Serena Williams did so last year. Agassi and Graf’s home is adorned with thirty Grand Slam singles trophies. Agassi has won two US Open titles, four Australian Open titles, a French Open, and a Wimbledon championship.
1996 saw him win a gold medal at the Olympics. The only player to have won the Olympic Gold, Masters Cup, Davis Cup, and all four Grand Slams is him. Steffi is still the only tennis player in history to win an Olympic gold medal and all four Grand Slams in the same year, which she accomplished in 1988.
