Congratulations to Roonie O’Sullivan as he beats Judd Trump to win another final

Snooker player Ronald O’Sullivan defeated Judd Trump 10–7 to win the World Grand Prix.

Shortly after the evening session started, O’Sullivan, who won the Masters last weekend, mounted an incredible comeback from a 6-3 deficit.

But just as it seems like Trump would mount his own comeback, O’Sullivan won five straight frames to win 10-7.

Ronnie supports Trump.

Ronnie is fast rising to the top of the standings after a scorching start to 2024 and a record-breaking eighth global victory.

The Essex star, however, has Judd Trump in the lead and doesn’t see things that way.

O’Sullivan remarked, “Sheffield is three sessions and a different animal.”

“You can become enraged more quickly when you’re competing against diverse opponents.

“You put the match behind you and start over, but you don’t really experience that reset when you play the same opponent across three or four sessions.

With the exception of 2020, when O’Sullivan defeated Kyren Wilson 18-8 in the championship match, winning in Sheffield is typically achieved by being consistent.

“I think I have a chance if I can find some stability.

“Judd is a fighter and my favorite player for Sheffield, but I have three months to work on being more consistent with my play. Enjoying a trip there will be pleasant.”

Towards the Crucible

The bookies believe O’Sullivan will win a record-breaking ninth world title at the Crucible.

In the present period, he is level with Stephen Hendry (both on seven).

At 3/1, O’Sullivan is currently more expensive than Trump (4/1).

The winner of the previous year, Belgian Luca Brecel, is an underdog at 16/1; Shaun Murphy, Mark Allen, and Mark Selby are all more expensive.

O’Sullivan’s Award Jar

After winning at Leicester, Ronnie O’Sullivan took home a whopping £100,000 in prize money.

The total prize money for the entire competition was £380,000, with Judd Trump receiving £40,000 as the runner-up.
