Darwin Nunez was ridiculed by the Luton Town media crew, who were shocked by his terrible miss at Kenilworth Road on Sunday night. In a brave display that angered the Reds and necessitated multiple tactical adjustments, Rob Edwards’ team helped the Hatters earn a draw against Liverpool.

From a short distance out, however, the former Benfica player lost all composure and sent his shot over the crossbar. Replays revealed that the goal would have probably been awarded, but the linesman decided to call the chance offside to save face at the time.
To emphasize just how stunning the mistake was, Luton’s official X (Twitter) account tweeted: “What a miss from Darwin Nunez!” along with an emoji of a person’s head exploding.
