According to rumors, Brighton and Manchester City are vying for the services of Schalke midfielder Assan Ouédraogo, and Bayern Munich is also reportedly keen. According to a report in Bild, Assan’s father acknowledged that Brighton and Manchester City aren’t the only English and German clubs vying for his son’s signing, adding that Bayern is one among them:
The following is information on the player’s profile that BFW’s own Ineednoname covered in the prior post about Ouédraogo:
According to rumors, Bayern Munich will act in January 2024. According to Sky Sport (as reported by @iMiaSanMia), due to international call-ups for Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting, Noussair Mazraoui, Bouna Sarr, and Kim Min-jae at the start of next year, the club is allegedly willing to sign two to three players.
If Cameroon, Morocco, Senegal, and South Korea advance in their individual competitions, it will be difficult for Bayern to compete in the AFC Asian Cup and the Africa Cup of Nations. The Bavarians might suffer if four players are out for up to five games in the key month of January. Therefore, it would be reasonable to sign a few players. Joo Palhinha will be a pricey target, but Thomas Tuchel might obtain his “Holding Six” if he arrives. Other names are still being thrown around, and one can only hope that Bayern will choose players of a high caliber who are not prone to injuries. We won’t have a chance to advance in the Champions League till then.
