The winger Jeremy Doku, who joined City for about £55 million from Rennes, is the most recent acquisition of the summer transfer season.
He joins fellow Croatian players Mateo Kovacic and Josko Gvardiol at the Etihad, the latter coming in a £30 million signing from Chelsea to take Ilkay Gundogan’s place.
Guardiola is expected to purchase Matheus Nunes, a midfielder for Wolves, continuing City’s spending spree. They and Wolves have reached a £60 million agreement for the Portugal international, and a medical examination is forthcoming.
Lucas Paqueta of West Ham appeared to be on his way to City, but the deal has since fallen through after it was revealed that the offensive midfielder is the focus of an FA investigation into potential betting violations.
