After missing out on Moises Caicedo, Liverpool has intensified their efforts to sign Romeo Lavia, but they appear to be losing out to the Blues once more as the transfer season comes to an end.

Moises Caicedo, a star player for Brighton, was pursued as a result. However, despite agreeing to a British transfer record sum with the Seagulls for the Ecuadorian, he chose to go with Chelsea. Romeo Lavia of Southampton was the target of Liverpool’s attempt to sign him before the Blues, but he now prefers to go to Stamford Bridge.
