Five players confirmed to leave Jurgen kloop squad permanently this Jenuary transfer

Several players have already been pushed in the direction of leaving Anfield, and Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is anticipated to restructure his playing roster in the summer.

This summer, Jurgen Klopp will completely restructure his struggling Liverpool team following a turbulent season.

Less than a year after the Reds’ aspirations of winning an unprecedented quadruple were shattered, Klopp’s team is now battling to make it into the Champions League for the following season. But major changes are on the way at Anfield, whether they finish in the top four or not.

A midfield makeover for Klopp is planned, and a number of well-known players, notably Ryan Gravenberch of Bayern Munich and Alexis Mac Allister of Brighton, have already been linked to a transfer to Liverpool.

However, with a number of players scheduled to depart Merseyside permanently in the upcoming months, Klopp and the Anfield management will not only be focusing on incoming deals this summer.

Not surprisingly, the most of the names expected to be leaving Anfield are midfield players, considering Klopp’s aim to rebuild his squad. Since joining on a deadline day loan move back in the summer, Arthur Melo has not been able to make an impression. This week, he said that he intends to “say goodbye” to Liverpool supporters before heading back to Juventus in the summer.

When their contracts expire at the conclusion of the season, fellow midfielders Naby Keita and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain are also expected to leave the team. Both had suffered from injuries and were connected to transfers in January.

James Milner, who has been linked to Brighton, also seems more and more likely to join that trio in leaving. Additionally, Milner is in the last year of his contract, and Klopp made it apparent earlier this week that he is leaning toward finishing his playing career somewhere else.
