How Liverpool will line up against Brighton without out key Midfielders

Ahead of Liverpool’s Premier League match at Brighton and Hove Albion, the most recent injury updates, team news, and expected starting lineup are provided.

When liverpool travels to another European qualifying team Brighton and Hove Albion on Sunday afternoon, they will look to build on what has mainly been a successful opening two months of the season.

The Reds took a breather from the Premier League on Thursday night as Ryan Gravenberch’s goal gave them a slender home victory against Belgian club Union Saint-Gilloise in a Europa League group round match. The victory allowed Klopp’s team to recover from Saturday’s contentious home loss to Tottenham Hotspur and gave the reds manager some intriguing team selection dilemmas going into the match against the seagulls

Midfielder Curtis Jones will undoubtedly miss the journey to the south coast as he begins the first of a three-game suspension following his contentious red card at Tottenham last weekend. Cody Gakpo, a forward, will also be out due to a knee injury sustained while scoring in the loss to Spurs.

.Due to the absence of Stefan Bajcetic (calf), Caoimhin Kelleher (knee), and Thiago Alcantara (hip), Klopp will likely start with a mostly identical lineup to the one that defeated Union SG in the Europa League on Thursday.

Jones’ absence could force Klopp to choose between starting Wataru Endo or Ryan Gravenbach, the latter of whom the Reds manager praised in his pre-game news conference.

Team predictions for Liverpool

Alisson, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Joel Matip, Virgil Van Dijk, Andy Robertson, Dominik Szoboszlai, Alexis Mac Allister, Ryan Gravenberch, Mohamed Salah, Darwin Nunez, and Luis Diaz are a few of the players mentioned.
