However, it should be considered in the context of Luka Doncic’s play in a very different era of basketball. Regarding the second part, it’s possible that Kidd was joking or that he genuinely thinks that. It would be better not to say that. A few of us seasoned observers find it difficult to believe that even LeBron is in Michael Jordan’s league (aside from longevity, in which James clearly outperforms everyone).

In fact, he participated in 82 games for the Washington Wizards at the age of 39. The only reason Luka is in that “atmosphere” is because, with his current 0-0 record, he still has a chance to win the championship.
