On January 27, Julius Randle left the Miami Heat game in the fourth quarter following a collision with Heat player Jaime Jaquez Jr.Making a drive to the basket, Randle fell hard on his right side and was clearly uncomfortable. Helped along the way by the Knicks medical personnel, he soon headed to the locker room


According to a league insider, Julius Randle’s recuperation and training regimen are going smoothly and without any problems.For the most part, Randle and the New York Knicks are talking about possible surgeries as preventative measures.When questioned about the possibility of surgery after the season, Randle remained evasive.After pregame warmups on January 29, during a road game against the Hornets, OG Anunoby decided he wasn’t ready to play.His right shooting elbow, which he has used to make 3-pointers at a 39% clip since being traded from the Toronto Raptors on December 31, became inflamed, so he made the decision not to participate.
