Tennis star couple Paula Badosa and Stefanos Tsitsipas split after one year. ‘It is not easy.’ Sometimes “you meet the right person but maybe in the wrong moment,” Badosa added.
Tennis pair Paula Badosa and Stefanos Tsitsipas have reached the end of their journey. Badosa, 26, recently acknowledged that the couple had ended their relationship after dating for a year, and spoke openly about it for the first time in an interview with Tennis.com. “When we were terrific, our relationship was great. Other times, we have our own careers and everything, and it’s best to part ways,” she explained.

This reminds me of the story of Maria [Sharapova] and Grigor [Dimitrov], in which you meet the perfect person but at the wrong time. It’s a little like this,” Badosa explained.
Badosa discussed the termination of her romance with Tsitsipas, 25, in a post on her Instagram Story on May 5. “It’s not simple to start a relationship in public. It’s as if you have to complete it in the same way. We have a terrific friendship together. He’s a fantastic guy, and I wish him all the best. “I know it’s the same on his end,” the post stated. “I have tremendous support from everyone: my family, my team, and my friends. I even feel supported by his team and family. They have all been really supportive of both of us. Ultimately, nothing awful happened. “It’s just life,” the post added.
“I know we’ll keep seeing each other on tour, and you never know what will happen in the future,” Badosa said in an email. The former couple’s affair was first reported on Day 3 of Wimbledon last year. While interviewing Tsitsipas, BBC broadcaster Karthi Gnanasegaram referred to Badosa as Tsitsipas’ girlfriend, to which he made no clarification.
