Jayson Tatum son is in a very serious medical condition. Jayson pleed fans to pray 🙏 and support him

Boston (WHDH) – A young child with cancer received a great surprise last Friday during the Celtics game: an unexpected visit with Jayson Tatum, a prominent player for the team.

Tatum also presented a brand-new pair of sneakers to the young admirer.

Following the excitement, the boy’s mother remarked that her kid had realized a dream.

Regarding his encounter with Tatum, Xavier Goncalves remarked, “I was kind of speechless.” “It was simply a moment that changed my life.”

Goncalves, ten, is a Raynham student in the fifth grade. Since getting his cancer diagnosis in November, he and his mother Samantha Bowditch have been residing at Christopher’s Haven in Boston as he undergoes radiation therapy.

Bowditch remarked, “He has been exceptional throughout the entire thing.”

On Friday, Bowditch brought her die-hard Celtics fan to his first game; none of them realized what kind of surprise the team had in store for him. The group then brought Goncalves to the court so he could meet Tatum, his idol.

“It was truly amazing the smile on his face when Jayson Tatum approached him,” Bowditch remarked. There isn’t another emotion. It was very unique.

In addition, Tatum gave Goncalves a pair of his just released sneakers.

Goncalves stated that Tatum requested that he wear the sneakers in order to wish him luck during the game.

Goncalves added, “I wore them all game.”

Goncalves stated that a pair of shoes this remarkable should only be worn on special occasions, despite the fact that he now has a pair of boots to help him fight cancer.

Goncalves declared, “[I will] definitely wear them to my last treatment.”

Until then, Goncalves’s strength in the fight against cancer will come from the memories of meeting his favorite player.

“He motivates me to strive for excellence,” Goncalves remarked.

Goncalves anticipates wrapping up his medical care and returning home at the end of May or the beginning of June, hopefully in time to see the Celtics play in the NBA Finals.
