LATEST UPDATE: Jayson Tatum will not be playing coming match against Dellas as fresh occurrence of injury happened today at training

The injury report for Friday’s game includes Jayson Tatum.

The Boston Celtics will host the Toronto Raptors in Massachusetts on Friday night.

Given that Jayson Tatum is listed as injured, the Celtics may be missing their best player for the contest

“Jason Tatum said his sprained ankle is still a little swollen and he’ll be questionable for tomorrow’s game,” according to Jay King of The Athletic on Thursday.

Tatum is averaging 27.0 points, 8.4 rebounds, 4.4 assists, 1.1 steals, and 47.0% field goal and 34.0% three-point shooting per game in his 29 games played this season.

With a 24-6 record through their first 30 games, the Celtics hold the top seed in the Eastern Conference.

They are currently enjoying a four-game winning streak and have gone 9-1 in their last ten games.

The Celtics most recently won an overtime game against the Detroit Pistons, 128-122.

During his forty-three-minute game, Tatum finished with 31 points, seven rebounds, ten assists, five steals, and an 11/31 shooting and 2/11 three-point shooting percentage.

The Celtics’ next game is scheduled for Sunday in Texas, where they will host the San Antonio Spurs, after the Raptors.

With a record of 12–18 through their first 30 games, the Raptors are currently ranked as the Eastern Conference’s 12th seed.

Most recently, they defeated Jordan Poole and the Washington Wizards 132-102, and they are 3-7 over their previous ten games.

On Saturday, the Raptors will play the Detroit Pistons after the Celtics.
