Liverpool Confirmed line up against Lask

After two more significant names were added to his list of Reds absences, Jurgen Klopp may make changes.

Throughout the upcoming games, Caoimhin Kelleher will have the opportunity to make an impression for Liverpool as he fills in for the injured Alisson Becker.

In Saturday’s high-profile 1-1 draw with Premier League championship rivals Manchester City, the Reds’ first-choice goalkeeper suffered a hamstring injury late in the game. He required treatment before continuing and hobbled off at full time.

Alisson will undoubtedly be out of the starting lineup for Liverpool’s matchup with Fulham on Sunday and Thursday’s Europa League match against LASK, as confirmed by manager Jurgen Klopp after a scan revealed that the problem is “bad enough” but not as terrible as initially thought.

Alisson is also probably not going to play against Sheffield United and Crystal Palace the following week, but he might be able to make a comeback for the last group stage match in the Europa League against Union SG on December 14 or for the Premier League match three days later against Manchester United.

In addition, Liverpool’s Diogo Jota was forced to leave the game against City early in the second half due to a more serious injury to his muscles than Alisson’s. Jota will spend more time in the treatment room with Andy Robertson, Thiago Alcantara, and Stefan Bajcetic, none of whom are anticipated to return to action before the New Year.

Klopp stated on Wednesday, “With Alisson it is a bit lesser so we will have to see.”

“He won’t be playing tomorrow or Sunday, and most likely not the week following. following that, he might be alright, but Diogo will require more time.

With such a busy schedule ahead, Klopp has alluded to making some changes against the Austrians in an attempt to get “fresh legs”.

“I will line up a team with fresh legs who want to go for it, enjoy the game and will really fight for a result,” he stated.

Predicted Liverpool starting lineup (4-3-3): Endo, Gravenberch, Elliott; Doak, Gakpo, Diaz; Kelleher; Gomez, Konate, Quansah, Tsimikas

Alisson, Jota, Robertson, Thiago, and Bajcetic are hurt.
