After midweek European competitions, Premier League football resumes. In the Europa League, West Ham and Liverpool competed. Both the Hammers and the Reds had impressive comeback victories in Austria against Lask and Baka Topola, respectively. With a 3-1 final score, each side claimed victory in their separate games.
In an effort to catch up to Manchester City at the top of the standings, Liverpool will now welcome West Ham at Anfield. Given their present form, Jurgen Klopp’s team appears to be in a strong position to prevail.
Furthermore, Liverpool has regained their ‘Mentality Monsters’ aura this season. They have already won four games from losing positions out of the six they have played so far this season, in all competitions.
On the other hand, David Moyes will be a satisfied manager right now. Starting the season on a strong note, West Ham has continued from where they left off last season, becoming European champions for the first time ever.
Additionally, this season, Liverpool has reclaimed their reputation as “Mentality Monsters.” Out of the six games they have played so far this season in all competitions, they have already come back to win four of them.
David Moyes, on the other hand, will be a happy manager right now. West Ham has built on a solid start to the season by continuing where they left off in 2018, winning the European Championship for the first time ever.
