Liverpool “star” player will be missing out match against Bournemouth—Jurgen Klopp revealed

Jurgen Klopp will alter his lineup for the fourth round trip to the southern coast.

Luke Chambers, a teenage player from Liverpool, is expected to play in Wednesday’s Carabao Cup match against Bournemouth.

The injury to Andrew Robertson has moved the England youth international left-back up the rankings, as evidenced by his recent appearances against Nottingham Forest and Toulouse.

Conor Bradley, Thiago Alcantara, and Stefan Bajcetic are out, and young winger Ben Doak is a doubt despite making a partial return to training on Monday due to a leg muscle injury. Joe Gomez and Joel Matip are more senior options available to come into the side. Jurgen Klopp must decide whether to start Chambers alongside fellow Liverpool academy defender Jarell Quansah, who started in the third-round win over Leicester.

Assistant coach Pep Lijnders, “We have missed Thiago,” said. “I really have missed him. Imagine that Thiago is leading our new, much-discussed midfield with him in the midst. [The damage] will require time. He will not be accessible.

Wataru Endo, Harvey Elliott, and Curtis Jones have all been consistent performers for the Reds in the cups, and they could continue against Bournemouth.

Luis Diaz is not anticipated to be featured because of the current circumstances surrounding his parents in Colombia.

Predicted starting lineup for Liverpool: Elliott, Endo, Jones; Salah, Jota, Gakpo; Kelleher; Gomez, Matip, Van Dijk, Chambers

Robertson, Thiago, Bajcetic, and Doak are injured.

Diaz is unavailable.
