Once more, Bjorn! Seen seen competing in a junior tennis tournament in west London, 15-year-old Borg’s kid looks just like the five-time Wimbledon champion.

You could think they had traveled back in time if you blink.

This is Leo, Bjorn Borg’s son, playing tennis in London yesterday, not the legendary Bjorn Borg of yesteryear.

And the 15-year-old is already hoping to play at SW19 next month, seeking to emulate his father, a five-time Wimbledon singles winner. Leo was playing yesterday at the Hurlingham Club in Fulham in the Aspall Tennis Classic.

Observing spectators would have seen how the adolescent bears more than a passing resemblance to his well-known father, 63, with his long blonde hair and close-set blue eyes.

But Leo, whose mother is Patricia, Borg’s third wife, has a long way to go before he can match the Swede’s accomplishments. Currently ranked 352nd in the boys’ global rankings, he will need to be given a wildcard in order to compete in the Wimbledon junior event for the first time. This is 39 years after his father’s historic 1980 victory over John McEnroe.
