After suffering an injury against Tottenham, Cody Gakpo was taken off at halftime and left the stadium wearing a leg brace.
Initially, there was concern that the injury might be catastrophic, but Jurgen Klopp now anticipates that he will be ready during the international break.
When asked if the Dutchman would return after the break, Klopp responded, “Cody, there is a good chance.”
“From all the very, very bad opportunities and possibilities injury-wise, I think he nearly got the best but is still injured,” the author said. “He is already out of the brace and walks around normally.”
For Liverpool so far this season, the Dutch forward has made eight appearances and scored three goals.
