“Report” Thomas Tuchel revealed players to be exiting club next transfer season

Sadio Mane, who joined Bayern Munich from Liverpool last summer, is most likely to leave the club after just one season; Man City’s Joao Cancelo is unlikely to have his half-season loan in Germany extended given the player’s £60 million price tag.

According to Sky Germany, Sadio Mane and Joao Cancelo do not have long-term prospects at Bayern Munich and are not anticipated to stay through this summer.

Bayern has the option to purchase Cancelo from Manchester City after his loan period is through, but they do not have any plans to spend more than £60 million on the Portuguese defender.

Mane, who has only spent one season with Bayern and has already scored 12 goals, is also set to become available for transfer in the summer.

The Senegal forward has struggled to hold down a regular starting position under new manager Thomas Tuchel, and Florian Plettenberg of Sky in Germany thinks a return to the Premier League is his most viable option.

Since his comeback from injury in February, Mane has started just six of Bayern’s 11 league games, scoring once. In April, Mane was suspended for one game after a brawl with teammate Leroy Sane.

After the altercation, Plettenberg told Sky Sports: “Right now, he is not the Sadio Mane from Liverpool. You can clearly see the effects of the injuries he sustained just before the World Cup in Qatar.

“He’s not that same cheerful man. He doesn’t have the same quickness, he’s not very good at dribbling or tackling, and his body language is terrible.

“That Sane scenario shocked the management and his teammates, and from what I understand, he will now be seen negatively inside due to his actions and performances.

“A lot of players have distanced themselves from Mane – he’s a candidate for sale in the summer, he has a high salary and Thomas Tuchel has no real plans to work with him next season.”

Cancelo started 36 times for City in the Premier League last year, but on Transfer Deadline Day in January, he signed a loan deal with Bayern after playing a limited part for City this year.

Cancelo achieved success at Manchester, where he won two league championships and twice made the Premier League Team of the Year.

The Portuguese full-back explained his choice to go on loan after making it: “I haven’t got much playing time in the last several weeks, which influenced my decision. Although there were rumors that my friendship with Pep wasn’t the best, the truth was that I wanted to play more.

“I was incredibly excited to start this new journey at a club with such a rich history. I have a dream about it. I’m excited to be here and demonstrate my football skills.
