According to reports, Jamal Musiala, a midfielder for Germany and Bayern Munich, is a target for Manchester City.

Highly regarded attacking-midfielder Jamal Musiala plays for Bayern Munich, and Manchester City is ‘exploring’ the prospect of signing him.

According to a report by Football Insider, City is’monitoring’ his situation at the Allianz Arena after returning to winning ways with a 2-1 victory against Brighton & Hove Albion on Saturday. One of the most intriguing young players in football, the 20-year-old is growing stronger and stronger at a rate of knots.

The Blues are continuously keeping their options open in case they decide to bring in new players before their midweek Champions League matchup against BSC Young Boys in Switzerland. On the German international, it is allegedly claimed that they are “building a dossier.”

Musiala has advanced significantly over the past 12 months for club and country. He typically plays as a No. 10 but can also play out wide. He made 47 appearances for Bayern last season, scoring 16 goals and dishing out 16 assists.

However, it is alleged that the youngster, who has already amassed 25 senior caps for Germany under his belt, is ‘frustrated’ by the fact he is not currently a regular starter for Thomas Tuchel. The Bayern coach has granted him just three Bundesliga starts so far this season

Musiala has made a total of 134 appearances for the European powerhouses thus far, scoring 32 goals and accumulating 26 assists. His contract with Bayern runs through June 2026. Additionally, he has 10 significant victories to his credit with Bayern, including four Bundesliga titles.
