Watch for all the most recent injury updates about Arsenal before this weekend’s Premier League matchup versus London rival Chelsea.

Just four days remain till Arsenal returns to action. The much-anticipated Premier League London Derby pits the Gunners against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

Last time out, a late Gabriel Martinelli goal helped Mikel Arteta’s team upset championship rivals Manchester City 1-0. Leandro Trossard did, however, sustain an injury during the match, prompting him to be replaced by Martinelli at halftime.

Due to a personal injury, star winger Bukayo Saka also missed that match, while William Saliba was compelled to withdraw from France’s squad before to the current international break. With that said, let’s take a look at the newest injury concerns for the north Londoners, along with some updates and possible future comeback dates.

Saka Bukayo

Saka was completely left out of the Arsenal lineup against Manchester City after being forced off in the Champions League defeat to RC Lens. The winger’s injury worries grew to be too great, making him uncertain for the international break.

Saka watched the victory over City from the Emirates Stadium, and fans will be hopeful the 22-year-old is healthy enough to play against Chelsea. The young player won’t be on the roster for the international break, the England men’s national team confirmed in a post.

Mikel Arteta stated: “He felt something, and so you are tempted to risk him, but he was unable to workout yesterday, so that immediately eliminated him from the match. While losing him is disappointing, we have recently lost players and have adjusted. There is no denying that he is a crucial player, but the team still needs to use its other resources to succeed without him.

The England national team has stated that Bukayo Saka would not participate in the matches against Australia and Italy. The forward and the rest of the Three Lions team arrived at St. George’s Park on Monday. Saka was examined by the England medical staff after missing Sunday’s Premier League victory between Arsenal and Manchester City due to injury, and it was determined the player will continue his recovery at his club.
