“Shocking” What Jurgen Kloop promised to team mates after today’s game

Jürgen Klopp praised Liverpool’s comeback as they won their fourth Premier League game in a row, 3-1 over Wolverhampton Wanderers.

The Reds went behind to a Hwang Hee-chan goal at Molineux on Saturday, seven minutes into a first half that the hosts dominated.

But Cody Gakpo equalized on 55 minutes, and Andy Robertson put Klopp’s side ahead late on, before Harvey Elliott’s goal off Hugo Bueno completed a spectacular reversal.

Below is a recap of Klopp’s post-match news conference assessment of the game…

On his thoughts at halftime…

Oh, I thought a number of times in the first half, what the… We were definitely not prepared in the first half, but Wolves outperformed us. You could see it when they threw three players into the box and we weren’t there, the last step missing. I’ve worked with these lads for a few weeks, seven, eight, or nine weeks, and some for longer – I know they’re there when they can. Today, they couldn’t in many situations. You witnessed it with Macca and other players today; they didn’t have the legs.
