
Chamberlain was named Player of the Year in 1957 and led his team to two NCAA Final Fours during his stellar college career at the University of Kansas.
He entered the NBA in 1959 following graduation and played for a number of teams, including the Los Angeles Lakers, Philadelphia 76ers, and Philadelphia Warriors.
Chamberlain was renowned for his playmaking prowess and remarkable physique. He broke a number of records during his career, including the NBA record for most points in a single game in 1962 when he scored 100 points.
