The New “Goat” will be announced soon as Wilt Chamberlain’s record !!broken!! today

When the front office acquired Daniel Gafford from the Washington Wizards prior to the trade deadline, nobody anticipated that he would establish himself as a key member of the Dallas Mavericks rotation. It seems like he’s doing really well, and if he keeps up this pace, the big guy should be able to soon eclipse Wilt Chamberlain’s incredible record.

Gafford played for the Washington Wizards for around three seasons before to joining the Mavs. He averaged 9.7 points on 70% shooting from the field, 6.1 rebounds, and 1.1 assists per game over 218 games.

While that may have been the original plan, Gafford turned out to be better than expected by giving Luka Doncic an ideal partner to play pick-and-roll with. As a result, his averages rose to 10.6 points on 78 percent shooting from the field, and 7.0 rebounds per game in Dallas.

Daniel Gafford, a star with the Dallas Mavericks, is headed to surpass Wilt Chamberlain’s insane record.

It goes without saying that since joining the Mavericks, Gafford has been nothing short of amazing. The fact that the Dallas star is so close to shattering Wilt Chamberlain’s previous record for the most field goals made in a row without missing any in the NBA is evidence of that.

It might not be as simple for Gafford to make three more field goals as it sounds. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and the Oklahoma City Thunder, who have the fifth-best defense in the NBA, will be the Mavericks’ next opponents.
