Streisand’s first official release since Walls, which debuted at No. 12 on the Billboard 200 in 2018, is “Love Will Survive.” Evergreens and Release Me 2 are just two of the live, anniversary, and compilation albums she has released since then.
In a statement, Streisand said, “I wanted to sing ‘Love Will Survive’ in the context of this series as a way of remembering the six million souls who were lost less than 80 years ago because of the rise in antisemitism around the world today.” Furthermore, to emphasize that love has the capacity to endure and triumph even in the most difficult circumstances.
