The Next Duets Album by Barbra Streisand Will Include Superstars Elton, Paul McCartney, Sting, and Other A-List Stars? Adele? Ariana?

“Love Will Survive,” a stunning new single by Barbra Streisand, will be featured in the closing credits of the upcoming television series “The Tattooist of Auschwitz.” Thanks to producers Walter Afanasieff (classic Mariah Carey songs) and Peter Asher (classic Linda Ronstadt and James Taylor songs), Streisand may have delivered her best new vocal in years.

I’ve since learned that Streisand has secured the producing team for her upcoming duet album. Over the course of her six-decade career, Barbra has achieved a few of these. However, this one has a powerful sound.

Her greatest successes? (Or theirs, given that nobody is opposed to singing with Barbra?) Superstars only, I’ve been told: sources claim that Sting and Paul McCartney are among them. Those are undoubtedly the biggest ones available. Which musical selections are they going to perform? Most likely their own. Would “Michelle” work for McCartney? Sting and Barbra would sound fantastic together on “Fragile.” Who knows, though?
