RONNIE O’SULLIVAN has experienced life’s ideal.
He can recite the names of his vintage supercars like century breaks: Ferrari, Aston Martin, Bentley, and Porsche.
But the “flashy, showy” motors are no longer acceptable to the snooker god. The Rocket still enjoys rockets, of course, but they are more somber, regular rockets.
Ronnie now drives an Audi estate—albeit the 155 mph RS4 Avant—because of this.
Says Ronnie: “I adore that vehicle. I genuinely do. It’s arguably the best car I’ve ever had, pound for pound. I still experience that rush.
Ronnie bought his 4.2-liter quattro last year for £57,000, and he has no intention of trading it in. It can go from 0 to 62 mph in 4.7 seconds.
“I won’t part with it,” he declared. The other day, Audi called and asked whether I wanted to sell the car. Someone is interested in it. and I responded, “Nah, buddy, not until you get me a replacement,” meaning that when that model of RS4 Avant comes out, I will get another one. I don’t want to drive any other automobile on the road.
At one point, Ronnie paid £2,500 to Jimmy White for the private plate CUEBOY, or CUE 130 Y, and immediately sold it back to him.
