Together, the brains at Bayern Munich are planning a significant January transfer window.

Bayern Munich is reportedly preparing a serious plan for pursuing transfer targets during the winter transfer window, according to a report from kicker journalist Georg Holzner (as seen on Twitter by @iMiaSanMia):

The new additions for the January transfer window and beyond are being planned by Thomas Tuchel and Christoph Freund on a daily basis. Both of them get along well, which Tuchel hasn’t always had with sporting directors in the past. Regarding the team’s personnel requirements as well as the integration of young players like Mathys Tel and Frans Krätzig, Freund and Tuchel concur.

Two needs, a defensive midfielder and a center-back, appear to be met, but do Tuchel and Freund have any other pleasant surprises in their sleeves?
