Sunday night’s Laver Cup in Vancouver came to a quiet end, but there are now rumors that new, well-known captains might breathe fresh life into the competition.
Over the competition’s first six editions, tennis legends John McEnroe and Bjorn Borg captained Team World and Team Europe, respectively.
Although in its early years their presence gave the event a sense of grandeur, there are now suggestions that new faces might give the competition a new lease on life.
