UFC UPDATE: Israel Adesanye revealed what all UFC fans should Know about

Fight enthusiasts and analysts had hoped that Adesanya would go in this manner.

Regarding his boxing career, Israel Adesanya has provided a detailed update.

The former middleweight champion of the UFC has not been doing well lately. In the main event of UFC 293 he lost the 185-pound belt to Sean Strickland in a major upset. Then, he entered a guilty plea to drunk driving in New Zealand. The Strickland bout was only a few weeks prior to the event.

There was much conjecture over the future of “The Last Stylebender.” It appeared as though a rematch with Strickland or perhaps a grudge bout with Dricus du Plessis was possible. After UFC CEO Dana White informed Kevin Iole of Yahoo! Sports that the victor of the co-main event of UFC 294 between Khamzat Chimaev and Kamaru Usman—a late replacement opponent—will get a crack at the UFC Middleweight Championship, fight fans were left with even more questions.
