Villa may buy a playmaker on £50 million from Premier League rivals.

Aston Villa is still apparently interested in Emile Smith Rowe, and Arsenal is now willing to transfer the 23-year-old to them.

Smith Rowe has not played much for the Gunners in the first team recently, though Villa is rumored to have attempted to bid for the player in the past.

Villa has had a great season and will definitely want to add more players, and the most recent reports indicate that Smith Rowe is a viable option for them.

Smith Rowe’s departure from Arsenal would be prudent, though, considering they currently lack depth in a couple important areas.

But Mikel Arteta might figure that he could bankroll a move for a striker like Ivan Toney by making a profit on a midfield player like Smith Rowe.
